Issue with attachment

Good afternoon,

 

I need to know, why when I try to attach some file, it is not showing on tool bar over when I write my cases. I need attach my files now,

Could you please provide us a video or some screenshots with a detailed explanation of the steps and results you got so we can clearly see what is the exact problem you are talking about?

You might use Screencast O Matic to record and upload your video, then providing us a link to the file.

If you are just not being able to add your attachments in your issues, I suggest the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Even if you are an Administrator, Double-check if you are added with the "Create attachments" permission in your project. To do it, Navigate to Project settings > Permissions and click on "Permission Helper" at the top-right corner of the page. Then, fill the fields with your user, the "Create attachments" permission, and the issue that you are replicating the error.
  2. Check if the attachments you are trying to upload are not larger than the allowed by your site under   > System > Attachments:

  3. Try to clear your browser cache, and check if the same problem is reproducible when using a different browser in incognito mode.
  4. Try to use the old issue view and check if the same problem happens. To use the old issue view, click on your profile picture at the top-right corner > Personal Settings > Scroll down and click to Turn-off the new issue view under the Jira Labs section.
    P.S: Some of the steps above will require a site-admin to be executed.
