Issue with Epic dates in NextGen Projects

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
Dates (mostly start date) for my epics keep getting reset to a random default value. Check the update log below, I did not make the last update, got shifted from 2020 Jan to 2019 Jan on its own. Plus for some reason, the date itself is not represented correctly in the history log, month coming up as 00 (not just for Jan, for all months it shows as 0 in the history)
