Issue status change with assigning it on somone

Hi,

i would like to change status when i give an Issue to someone.

example:

My ticket is in state "open" but when i give to my team member i wont it to go into "In Progress" but automatic.

Hi @Jurica Petricevic ,

Instead of triggering the status change via reassignment you can do it in reverse by requiring the Assignee when changing the status.

  • Create a Transition screen to In Progress status
  • Add a validator that requires the Assignee to be required.

That way, when you transition this to In Progress you are required to set an Assignee.
