We’ve run into a strange issue with our Scrum board. Overnight, we lost access to most of our epics and stories. We have 10 epics in total, but only 3 are currently visible, and several stories are missing as well.

I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including adjusting filters and testing various JQL queries, but nothing has resolved the problem. Other team members are also affected — they can’t access the Backlog or Active Sprint tabs at all.

At the moment, the only way we’re able to view all epics and stories is by going to Reports → Epic Report, where everything still appears as expected.

I already tried all of these JQL and anything else that ChatGPT spit out:

ORDER BY created DESC

project = FS AND issuetype = Epic ORDER BY created DESC

project IN (KAN, SCT, SC, SBI, FS, SH, BRAN) ORDER BY created DESC

Please assist!

Hello @Sia Sedighian

Have you checked Manage sprints permission? Also do you have any issue security scheme applied to the project?

Apparently, one of our team members is able to change other people’s views in Jira. For example, when he applies a filter in his List tab, it updates everyone else’s view. He also somehow manages to remove tabs like Active Sprint and Backlog from other people’s screens.
Do you know why this might be happening?
