Issue in name

Hi friends,

I need the clarification regarding the fields displaying the name.

The system field(Reporter) display the Full name of the user, The custom field (Created by myself)

display the username of the user.

May i know why it was displayed like that and if there is any option to display the Full name on custom field too.

Unfortunately you can not change how it is in the Edit screen. You will still be able to search with Full Name on those fields but the rendering cannot be changed without code changes.

In the view screen, you are still seeing Full Name, right?

When you say display, where are you viewing the issue, are you viewing it in comments body, view issue screen, edit issue screens
