Issue field - search not working

When I create a new issue and want to link it to an existing issue, the search for existing issues does not work.

The strange thing is that when I open an existing issue right after trying to create a new issue, I am able to see and link to that existing issue in the Create New Issue screen.

If I enter the full name of the issue in "Issue" filed, the link to the existing issue is created, even if it is not offered for selection.

I attach your picture where the link to existing issues with 10 out of 10 issues, but I have more than 100 existing issues. And when I open one of the existing issues that are not available for selection, I have 11 of 11 issues displayed when I try to create an issue again (Name of issues and text are removed in the picture).

I have tried a few fixed solutions for this, but none of them did not work.

I checked permissions, browse permission...

I also did a complete re-indexing (background and lock) of Jira, but that didn't help either.

Then I decided to ask here for help :)
