Issue Type

Team has selected incorrect Issue Type. I am trying to change the issue type to correct issue type through Move Issue Feature.

My question is  will the contents entered in custom fields for the incorrect issue type be moved to Correct issue type.

Ex - Hyperlinks given, Description, story points and other details

Yes, they will move, too - as long as those custom fields are associated with the Issue Type.

The data in the fields will still be available, but you will need to check the Issue Type Screen Scheme in use on the project, to ensure the custom fields are displayed on the screens in use for the new issue type.
