Issue Privacy

Hello,

situation: I created issues in a project. Some of them are for me only and should not be seen or read by others. What could be done to make some issues "private" so that only the author can see it?

Other project members still should be able to see any Issue I created, except those I "marked" as private.

That's a good start, but can you be a bit more precise on what to set up where, since I am very new and the JIRA Documentation is very General?

How would a security Level look if it shall enable a view only for the current user? That means, if I set security Level of an issue to "private", it shall only be seen by me. But if my colleague sets an issue to "private" it shall be seen only by him.

Security levels block access to people who do not match the rules.

The most simple security level scheme you could set up would be a single "level", which names you (or one of your roles or groups).  If you do not fill in a level on the issue, then everyone who can see the project can see the issue.  If you do set that level on an issue, then only those matching the rule will see it.  Everyone else will get a permissions error.
