Issue Navigator setting

Could I set the "list view" as the user default view method ? and customise the culomn permission which user could access and other user couldn't ? version:jira 6.1

There is no way to define the default view but once you select "List" view, that should be shown next time when you visit the issue navigator.

Regarding the column permission, there is no way to prevent a user from adding a column.
