Is anyone else having issues removing user access to the Projects and/or Goals features? We do not use either of these features, but whenever I try to remove user access to one or both of these, it also removes user access to Confluence and/or Jira. Is this happening to anyone else? Are the Projects and Goals features required to use Confluence and Jira?
I ran into the same issue today. Any user for which I removed Goals which we don't currently use, resulted in Jira Service Management and Confluence being removed for those users. I had to add them back which generated messages to those users who then understandably wanted to know why they received them. I will try the site-wide removal suggestion. Thank you.
Hello, Good day. Have you tried disabling Goals from project settings >> Features >> Goals?

Thanks for the response! Is your suggestion to disable these features at the individual project level? My main issue is that when I add users to the Jira Software through the User Management panel, Jira automatically enables Goals and Projects, and when I got back into the new user's account to disable those specific features, all Jira/Confluence access is removed. Does this make sense?

Hello, Thanks. Please go to Settings >> Apps >> Manage apps >> Select "System" installed apps. You will find "Atlassian Home for Jira Cloud" there you can disable the goals for whole site. Thanks
