We are trying to follow SAFE practices in our team. Could you please let me know if there are any plugin we can use to do this? Like creating iterations, creating Programs, Portfolios and teams?
Hi @Pradeep T
ad creating iterations, creating Programs, Portfolios and teams?
BigPicture 8 does all of them, and you track the progress of all your portfolios, programs, ARTs, PIs, iterations on a single screen. Of course, you can drill down, such as a roadmap for an ART, why not?
But, as @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- stated, there is no such thing as a fixed set of SAFe features. Instead, I'd choose a plugin that's flexible enough to cover waterfall or hybrid projects, too, and not only SAFe, as such an approach is sustainable in the long term, in uncertain times.
BigPicture follows that path. On the one hand, there are SAFe whitepapers on how to use Roadmap and Board modules. At the same time, there is support for hybrid projects (Gantt chart, Resources modules).
SAFe isn't quite as rigidly defined as "we can add a fixed set of features to a Jira system and bang we're doing SAFe". Jira can help, but it can only go so far, and your reach for an app that tries to add the things you might need for a scaled Agile system is the right reaction.
A lot depends on how you are scaling and why. You'll need to do a bit of research to find what is going to work best for your implementation.
I'm currently looking at two SAFe implementation projects. Both are very different, but both still in a phase where they have not decided between:
We're trying to help them decide, and we think we know what they're going for, but we've spent a lot of time talking to them, showing them the options. There's a good chance there are more options we've not been asked to consider for them too.

Hi @Pradeep T ,
You may want to take a look at Agile Hive.
There is also an earlier post with some documentation you can review here:
