Is there any way to stop Background Re-indexing in JIRA.

Is there any way to stop Background Re-indexing in JIRA.

We have performance issue every morning . Jira get slow and then delay in ticket getting created via email (already a raised with support JSP-189985) but still we could find the root cause. We found in our Windows Resource monitor that Jira services is having lot of write event under c:\jira\caches\indexes not sure this is normal . however we suspect it background reindexing resulting in performance issue. Is there any way we can stop back ground re-indexing

I don't think you want to do that. If it is the same time every day, check to see when the backup runs.
