Is there any way to limit resolutions based on user group

I would like only specific users to be able to resolve an issue to Won't fix and I could not find a way to do that on transitions using validators as the only validators that I can select are: Validate that the user has a permission, while I would like to validate depending on the value of the resolution if the user belogs to a specific group.

You can limit resolutions based on workflow transition: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Workflow+Properties

In this case, you can have 2 tranisitions - one visible to the group and one not, each with a different set of resolutions! Making the tranisition visible to users based on group can be done using workflow conditions.
