I have a very specific issue with the GM PRTS Jira app, to access it as external user, but there is no way that I can raise the question
Is there any way to get real support.
I cannot access the email but my covisint user id for GM has another 2FA method included (SMS) but I do not know how to get this app to change it.
Kind regards
@Christoph Bode Atlassian really wants you to use their AI tool.
If you interact with it long enough, and it doesn't return a valid answer for you, after some time, it will give up and give you a link to raise a support ticket (or I think it even does it for you). In any case, you just need to keep nagging it until it gives up.
Hello @Christoph Bode
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Is the problem that you are unable to access the specified Jira Cloud instance? Or is the problem something else?
If you are having access issues for a specific Jira Cloud instance you will need to contact the administrators/owners of that specific instance. Since this is a user community and we are users of our own Jira instances, we don't have access to the one you are using and have no direct way to obtain information about the administrators/owners of it.
Atlassian also does not generally provide that information as it would go against policy about customer confidentiality.
If you are unsure who to contact I recommend you start with the people that told you to access that system, or told you that your access to it had been granted.
Based on the screen image you provided it appears that you have gotten into a path of trying to setup an Atlassian Cloud user account which would be used to access Atlassian Cloud apps like Jira. Atlassian Cloud user accounts are associated to email addresses, and you do need to have access to the inbox for the email address in order to complete the account set up. Otherwise people could set up Atlassian Cloud user accounts based on somebody else's email, without their consent.
On a side note you may want to edit your post to remove the image or modify it to hide your email address. This is a publicly accessible forum, so anybody could find that information and send malicious content to your email address.
