Is there any way to change the workflow status color?

Deleted user February 10, 2020

Hi All,

I know if we change the status color it will change Globally. Is there any way to change the workflow status color only for particular project?.

Currently, we have Closed status in green color. We want to change that to Blue color and that color should appear same on the confluence page when we are pulling the data from Jira to confluence page using Jira issue filter macro.

Is it possible?

Thanks in advance,

ch

No this is not possible.  The statuses are global, not project specific.  And the colour is set depending on the "status category", of To Do, In Progress, or Done.

@Pete Singletondo you have any idea when the Blue - Amber - Green switch to Grey - Blue - Green for server? I can't find it anywhere in their docs.

Hi @Lacey Also

this change was introduced in Jira 8.2. You can find it mentioned in the release notes: Jira Software 8.2.x release notes - Color updates for issue statuses

To bring more consistency between the Jira Server and Jira Cloud applications, and to move another step closer to the new Atlassian Design direction, we’ve updated the colors of issue statuses, notifications, and lozenges. Now, when working with your issues and moving them around, you’ll see the following changes:

Best, Max
