Is there any possible way to modify the "Epic Link" field to be required when some one create a new

I tried to change the "Epic Link" field to be mandatory when someone create new issue in project.

Unfortunately, the field is locked by Jira and there is no access to modify it.

what can I do to overcome this problem?

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

For a Company Managed project you can modify the Create transition for the Workflow to add a Validator to ensure the Epic Link field is filled in.
