Is there any policy or permission only to access Jira automation ?

I need to use Jira automation for a better flow of our process, as a developer we cannot get admin access in Jira. So is there any access policy or a permission to access Jira automation and logs without getting Browser projects.

You are correct in your assumption that you must be at least a Project Administrator.
