Is there any Slack like integration with the new Google Hangouts Chat?

Google seems to be turning Hangouts into a more Slack like communication tool with the release of Hangouts Chat for Gsuite. Does anyone know if there's plan to integrate Jira Cloud with Hangouts Chat?

Hey Michael,

There is currently a free Hangouts Chat for Jira Cloud integration on the Atlassian Marketplace. The most recent reviews seem to indicate folks have not had luck getting it working in the last few months however.

Atlassian doesn't currently provide an official/Atlassian-owned integration with Hangouts Chat. My recommendation if the existing one doesn't work for you is to try and contact the vendor - fingers crossed it's a simple API endpoint update if that integration needs some help getting off the ground again.
