Is there an existing issue with finding users to assign a particluar test case in a test cycle

Is there an existing issue with finding users to assign a particluar test case in a test cycle? in TM4J? 

When we have a set of set cases set for execution in a test cycle, we are not able to assign test cases to the valid TM4J users , the search has a problem retreving the results from the search string.
