Is there an API to update or modify User Group Description?

I can find REST API to create Group, Add/Remove Users to the Group. But, I cannot find any API to add or modify Group Description.  Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. Using POST /rest/api/3/group and adding "description" field on bodyData doesn't actually add the description, but creates group anyway...
