Is there a way to split cascading field context using Script Runner?

I am trying to split the context of a cascading field using "Split custom field contexts" option, which is one of the builtin scripts available in Script Runner 2.1.15. But all the option values are getting deleted after creating the new context.

Is there any workaround to duplicate these option values instead of getting deleted from the issues?
