Is there a way to setup an email intake for NON service desk projects for automated ticket creation?

I don't see any email settings in other projects for this other than service desk. Is there a way? A third party too I can add on to another project?

We do this in our Jira Software instance.  Look under System Settings > Mail > Incoming Mail
