Is there a way to set a user's role or permission to exclude them from @mentions?

We have some accounts set up that allow different departments to comment on issues, but their names are children to the organisation's master account so @mentions can become a confusing long list.

Is there a way to exclude a category of accounts from mentions without limiting their access or other permissions?

Hi Jonathon,

Currently, it's not possible to restrict members or groups from showing up on mentions.
We do have a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:

Please, make sure to watch and vote to receive updates about the feature.

I'm sorry we can't be more help on this at this time.

Regards,
Angélica
