Is there a way to notify a person when specific people enter an issue?

We have a team lead that is wanting to be notified any time someone on his team enters an issue into JIRA. Is there a way to do this? I've not yet been able to find this through notification schemes, etc.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil, If you are allowed to use Slack or any communication application, then you can

a. create a webcast to the application

b. select the create event in webcast set up screen

c. provide access to the project in the communication application to the team lead

This way, he or she can be notified by JIRA on not only when the team member create an issue, but you can also get to know when it the issue is being updated or closed. For that, you may need to update your webcast settings.

Thanks for your help. I ended up creating a filter and a gadget and that seems to have solved the use case. The team lead can now subscribe to that filter if they need a email.

Thanks for your help.
