×Hi everyone,
I’d like to know if there is a way in Jira Cloud to make some fields completely invisible in issues.
The only method I’ve found so far is to add the field to the screen and then move it to the “Hide when empty” section in the screen configuration. That works as long as the field is empty, but if the field has a value, it becomes visible to users.
What I’m trying to achieve is:
A field that is used for internal or automation purposes.
It should never be displayed to end users, regardless of whether it has a value or not.
If you need to use the field in an automation it has to be on the screen/layout. Any fields that are not on the screen/layout are not available in an automation.
