Is there a way to get around pagination of test steps when writing a test case in the Zephyr Add In?

Since the recent 4.0 update, moving test case steps around when writing a test case is even more difficult.  Has anyone found a way to set how many test steps can be viewed at a time? Can blank steps be added in between steps without using cloning? Is there a way to export out just the test steps to excel and add/edit/move steps then import them back into the Zephyr add in?
