Is there a way to generate reports retrieving data from multiple source

What is the tool being used to collect data from various sources, and how can it be utilized to create a different environment that would allow for recommendations to be made based on the collected data? 

Eg: Multiple data sources must be combined with detail summaries to create a common 

dashboard of all deliverables.

Not sure if I understand the question correctly, but I quite like EazyBI for making reports and dashboards.  Just a personal preference.   It is a plugin (aka "app") that works inside Jira.
