Is there a way to generate PDF release notes from jira

We would like to improve the format of the release ntoes / include only few stories / bugs and not all. Is there a way to filter/customize release notes

1. Restrict to some bugs or only stories part of the release

2. Get release notes in some better format

3. pick some configuration put in some attributes as part of release notes

Before i saw the PDF conversion option in release notes but only text and HTML. Kindly provide the PDF option.
