Is there a way to format email reports sent by Jira?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if there was a way to format/add some flare to the daily emails that we get from Jira with issues raised throught the day. I've looked around my Jira setup but I haven't found a way to do this yet so I have to format the emails manually and then forward them to our team.

What I mean by format is:

a) Adding/Removing fields displayed in Jira report and

b) Formatting text i.e. making tittles bold, etc.

But, for you, no, because you're using "On Demand".

Although, you should also look at using HTML mail instead of plain text - HTML mail does embolden titles and so-on. You won't be able to edit the format, but it is prettier (much as I despise html email for a number of technical reasons, it is prettier)

Thanks Nic, the HTML option sounds promissing, do you need any permissions for that? I've looked under subscriptions and my profile and don't see the option.

I'm not that familiar with OnDemand, but the option would be in your profile (under "preferences") if you were using a full version of Jira. If it's not there, then it must be one of the things that is disabled in OnDemand.
