Is there a way to export everything, including attachments, from JIRA?

Hi,

The project I've been working on is being wound up, so I'm looking to do an export of everything in JIRA as part of the mothballing documentation.

I can obviously do a variety of different exports from within the filters, but none of these gives me all the attachments too. Does anyone have any suggestions for an easy way to export everything, including any attachments/pictures?

Not precious about formatting - whether it's a HTML file, Word doc etc., just don't want to lose all the data when our JIRA instance gets cancelled!

Thanks in advance!

Jira doesn't have anything out of the box that allows that. There is the Jira backup that backs up EVERYTHING in the DATABASE but that is meant to allow you to restore or migrate the the system. The backup is in a xml file and isn't designed to view outside of importing to Jira. Attachments are not in the database and need to be handled separately.

Being in the cloud you're restricted on what plugins you can use, but I would search the marketplace for a plugin that does what you want and see if it is available for the cloud.

I am facing a similar issue. We don't want to export everything. We are just looking to export all the fields and comments to a CSV.  how do we go about exporting everything? Also by-passing the limit of 1000 issues.
