Is there a way to display the Sprint field on an issue if it is NULL?

Hello,
My question may be very simple, and perhaps I am overlooking it, but I haven't found an answer in the documentation. For example, when I create an issue on our scrum board and forget to add a sprint to the issue, I can only see the field by clicking "Edit" and adding the "Sprint" in the edit screen. Can this field show up even if no value is assigned to it? So that it always shows up when just viewing it. Can you set a NULL or None value to the sprint field to change it the same way you update the description or title? I have enclosed screenshots to clarify what I am asking. Thank you for your assistance!

Hi @Barry Weiss welcome to the Atlassian Community!

In Server/ Data Center, a field is not visible on the screen unless it has a value.

So in order to display it on the screen, it should have a default value, even if it's a dummy one.

Perfect, that is what I figured. I will work with our Admin on that. Thank you! 😀👍
