Is there a way to change to bulk user timezone using scripts like groovy etc ?

Is there a way update the timezone of Users using a script .. Also it is possible to make timezone field unavailable for Users to enter their prefernces.

I had to remove that... for anyone else:

tzService.setUserDefaultTimeZone(timeZon, jiraServiceContext)
