Is there a way to add description on csv export for jira items

I'm trying to export specific fields for reporting and I was curious if description is valid as a choice? I did the export with all fields configured as well as current fields in the filter however description wasnt there. I believe a plug in may exist but there are many. Any help is appreciated!

I would suggest creating a filter and selecting the columns you would like to have in the export.  You can then export current fields and all the fields you would like will be contained in that export.

Description should be exportable. I just was successful. How exactly are you doing your export?
