Our company currently uses Jira for standard project management, and is now beginning to build out test suites to cover features. Right now our workflow is to use Jira tasks to create test cases, and combine them together using labels to form test suites. As many here know this can be cumbersome, and doesn't allow the freedom to a dedicated test management tool. We're considering moving test management to a Jira plugin, and I've been asked to investigate which one would best fit our needs.
I've been able to find a great deal of information about each of the most popular plugins, but what I can't seem to find is info on whether any of them allow a user to convert a Jira task directly into a test case. We've created a great deal of test cases, and would like to convert them directly into test cases without having to do it all manually.
I know that it's possible to convert the test steps in a Jira issue into an CSV, then import that into a test case in many of the popular management tools, but is there one that supports bypassing the middle step of generating a CSV file?
