Is there a keyword similar to SQL's Decode in JQL

I m trying to make the output of my data more user-readable. For Example, Stakeholder's understand status details better if they are specified in simple terms.

Is there a way this can be done through JQL's itself?

No, JQL is not SQL, it is just for finding issues, and has nothing to say about output, formatting, or even any data it might be pulling back.  The result literally is a list of issues.

If your users are confused by the names you're chosing for field values, it would be better to use more clear names!
