Is there a higger issue type than an Epic, something can serve as and epic wrapper

Bernardo San Juan

Hi,

In our teams we create epics for any story that take longer than a sprint. So there are epics for major new features and within this epics smaller epics that are decomposed into stories. Also, these stories can at the same time be broken down into sub-tasks

The problem is that epics we can not use the "epic link" field for epics, we have to use the "link" field. Is there any new feature request to cover this?

Cheers

Hi Bernardo,

It might be worth changing the topics on your question to JIRA and jira-cloud.  This isn't really a Confluence question.  Having said that, you might find JIRA Portfolio interesting - it uses "initiatives" that can cover multiple projects and epics.
