Is there a SQL way to generate the Recently Created Issues Report for a BI?

I'd like to generate the Recently Created Issues Report using SQL in Postgres and visualize it in a 3rd party BI.

Well, I learned that SQL is not the best way but is there a chance?

What are other possible solutions for 3rd party tools?

you could try to use the Rest Api of jira to get the data you want and put it in the bi tool
