Are the commands "historyItems.field" (referring to the field that was changed in the history of a Jira issue) or "historyItems.to = resolved" (referring to where the status field was changed to resolved) still used in JQL?

Hi @Gil Pizano welcome to the community. 
The simple answer here is no.  Unless I'm way off the mark, and one of my fellow community members can speak otherwise.
You can use the the CHANGED operator in jql.
