Hi community.
Im a QA Engineer and me and my team are trying to automate some of our tasks related to maintenance of Zephyr documentation and results.
Our first thoght was to automate that using Zephyr API, but when researching it, we discovered that our Zephyr is using an old version (Zephyr 1.0) that requires another addon (ZAPI) in order be manipulated by API externally.
But, when we searched for this addon on the JIRA Store but didnt find it. It seems that since more actual Zephyr versions didnt needed this addon to work, they depricated it and made it unavailable on the store.
My question is if there is another way to install this addon to enable Zephyr API manipulation or our only choice is to update Zephyr to newer versions that dont need ZAPI to work (this last choice is probably undoable since we share this addon with other projects that dont want it to be update)
Yes, this was the timeline of events for self-hosted Zephyr versions:
But, you are using Jira Cloud, which means that your Zephyr version should be up-to-date and therefore, provide the API without ZAPI.
How can you use an old Zephyr version if you are on cloud? It doesn't make sense to me.
