Is it possible to turn off "Workload by assignee" in Sprints?

I'm working with a team that is trying to move away from measuring individual contributions.

We'd like to hide all the UI elements that show which developers have how many points.

Is that possible?

Welcome to the community!  

It is a very good and refreshing thought! I can't find any configuration option to toggle off/on that option in the board or GUI as a whole.

Some teams I have worked with have left the Story unassigned and worked with individual subtasks to sort of take on a Story "as a Team". Then you can count subtasks per assignee instead... ;-)
