Is it possible to set a status for the entire project?

As above, I would like to know if Jira supports overall project status.

As such it would be easy to create dashboards which include issues only in projects that are either in backlog, or running or done. And exclusion would also be easy (disregarding status categories in said projects).

At the moment I can filter the issues but exclusion of entire projects can be tricky/very manual, especially if I have a lot of them which are being prepared.

Hi Tomasz - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Jira doesn't really have an ability to record the status of a project (unless you are using Atlas). So how are you determining the status of a project?
