Is it possible to send a JIRA project's activity stream to a HipChat channel?

I'm looking for a way to get one of my JIRA project's activity stream to HipChat. I can't seem to find anything. Or, a way to get issue comments to HipChat either. What am I missing?

Go2Group Hipchat plugin can send Issue Commented notifications to Hipchat. There are various events in handles.

We even started including the actual comment in the Stash Hipchat plugin. Might do that for JIRA Hipchat plugin too if there is any interests from the customers. See http://jira.go2group.com/browse/HIPCHAT-13for the Stash user story!

That's cool, but I really think not having the ability to send activity stream items to HipChat is a bug. :) At a minimum it's an odd missing feature.

The Agile principle is to add it when some one asks for it ;)

I can't be the first person to think this a natural relationship? What's Agile anyway?!? Well let me know if it makes it to the backlog. :)
