Is it possible to select two assignee at the same time in quick filters on the JIRA board?

I would like to know that after setting up the quick filters by assignee name, is it possible to display the tickets of both he assignees on the JIRA board. The problem I am facing is that I have to unselect everytime the previous name before i move on to the next name. If I select two names together, it does not show any ticket. Thanks

Currently this isn't possible with the assignee functionality, your best bet that I can think of is to create a quickfilter that checks for tickets assigned to #1 OR #2, however this quickly falls apart if you have a larger team. 

Is there a reason you need to see multiple assignees on the board simultaneously or is it a matter of inconvenience (I fully agree with you that in some situations this behavior is annoying, but for me those situations are few, but that's me).

Thanks for your response. Yes, this behavior is sometimes annoying and I wanted to know if there is an escape for this selection/deselection. There should be an option in JQL for AND/OR for the previous selections. Sometimes if i want to see all the tickets assigned to multiple people, I can not right now. Can we develop this feature?
