Is it possible to see story points when you open up a task page?

Do you know if it's possible to see story points when you open up the task in Jira? Or is it only possible to see story points in the backlog?

In most views of an issue, you will be shown all the fields on an issue, including Story Points (although a lot of places will not bother to display fields that are empty).

Where are you missing the Story points visibility?  (What exactly are you doing to "open up an issue" and view it?)
