I run a small startup now trying to implement software engineering best practices. We are just getting into scrum and it would be really helpful if I could get my hands on some sample Jira boards to learn from.

I'd suggest to start thinking of your current process. How many different statuses and/or steps exist in your development process (or whatever process you use)? It's relatively easy to map your process' statuses to JIRA statuses, and then you can configure a board in JIRA where columns get linked to JIRA statuses. Let me know if you'd like to share more details about your process and maybe we can give you more specific details.
