Is it possible to reorder subtasks using JIRA REST API ?

Currently the subtaks for a story are ordered depending on their creation time. Is there a way i can change this order using Jira rest api?

For example: I want AUT-6 to appear at the second position and moev AUT-5 last!

Sorry, but it's not possible to change the subtask order via the REST API.

Refer to the feature request JRACLOUD-29933 which says the request to add that feature was closed in 2015 as "Won't do".

the only way I found for order sub-tasks is this:

1. In a Standard ticket (like Story) with some sub-tasks:

, click and keep pressed the desired sub-task and place it in the right place:

, keep doing that and you reorder all the sub-tasks in a Story:

It should be an ordering feature like the "Order by" button present on the stories of an Epic:
