On the 'Welcome to JIRA' UI I accidentally hit ENTER before entering my full username. Now this partly username is a nuisance every single time, I login.
Is it not possible to remove that?
That has nothing to do with jira but with your browser.
Do a quick google search for something like "clear form data from <YOUR_BROWSER>" and follow the instructions.
It will probably be under a "privacy / security" section inside settings.
Thanks Iago
I'm using Chrome and have tried to clear history regarding form filling according to the guidelines. So far it hasn't helped, but I will give it a shoot more tomorrow :-)
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I've tried to do that in Chome and it worked like a charm.
Under settings > Autocomplete > Passwords
You should see a list with every password you've saved. Delete the one you want and you're set.
If you haven't saved a password but still have that autocomplete entry... maybe it is being considered a form?? (not what I've experienced but just in case)
Under settings > Privacy and security > Clear navigation Data
That clears all saved form data, as you can see, and maybe that's not exactly what you would want but I can't think of anything else right now.
Hopefully that does the trick.
