Is it possible to remove or hide some issuetypes from the Create screen?

Hi Team,

There are total of 10 issue types we have now. When I click on Create option, I can create the issue of any type. I want to remove "Epics" and "Story" from the "Issue Type" dropdown, so that all the users can't create epics or story from there. Can it be achieved. Please tell me the process. 

I am talking about this create option (in the blue box).

In one of my current project we using the same kind of mechanism.

I enabled only Delete issue permission to project admin (Role).

Now go to "Epic" and "Story" workflows.

Edit the workflow. select "Create" transition.

in  the above it showing "Create issues" permission. 

You can remove it and add "Delete issue permission"

Save workflows.
