Is it possible to remove a pointed ticket from a Sprint report and velocity report after the fact?

Hi.  Here is the use case:

• A team member inadvertently moved an epic that was pointed into a Sprint prior to the Sprint being started.  
• After the Sprint started the team realize that mistake and removed the Sprint from the ticket and question however that makes Sprint report and velocity report highly inaccurate ( all other tickets in the Sprint totaled 55 points and this one alone totaled 60 so you can imagine how inaccurate the reports are)

Are there any ways to remove this pointed Epic from being included in the Sprint and Velocity Reports?
