Many of our project's features have 20 or more requirements mapped them; is it possible to load a list of requirements into the Requirements or Use Case fields, rather than entering them one-by-one, and have them display as individual items? I've tried with list items separated by commas, double spaces, semi-colons, carats, and paragraph markers, all without luck.

Thanks!

Hi Kris,

It sounds like the custom field 'multi-select' would be your solution in this case. The settings of the values listed is performed from the custom field 'Options'. There is a great example of this process available at: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+a+Custom+Field#ConfiguringaCustomField-options

If you were trying to have the fields set automatically form the issue being selected I would suggest editing post-functions on the 'Create Issue' transition.

Cheers,

Paul
